I learned to design a garment before I learned to measure one.
My path into technical development started at a sewing table in Belarus. I trained as a tailor, then studied garment design and technology, building full women's collections from first sketch to commercialization. That foundation shapes everything I do now — I see a garment the way its designer does, not just as a set of measurements.
Today at lululemon I own styles from proto to final approval: leading fittings, writing construction comments my vendor partners can execute the first time, validating grading across the full size range, and mentoring junior Technical Developers. I've worked alongside vendors on the ground in Turkey, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Taiwan. Alongside the technical work, I'm a strong team player — someone who brings energy, joy, and inspiration to the people I work with.
Precision and creativity have never felt like opposites to me. Precision is simply how a creative vision earns its place on the body.
